Job Announcement for Two ASL Interpreters for The L.E.A.D. Institute.
The Leadership through Education & Advocacy for the Deaf (L.E.A.D.) Institute is a non-profit organization that has served D/deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, and deaf/blind individuals statewide in Missouri for over 20 years. L.E.A.D. is currently seeking applicants for two full-time ASL interpreters. These are professional positions responsible for working with victim service providers collaboratively by interpreting for deaf and hard of hearing victims of crime and ensuring quality culturally and linguistically appropriate services. Services will be provided primarily from the Columbia office. These positions may also provide necessary case management for victims of crime and their families as needed and when appropriate. Qualifications include: Advanced or Master MICS level of certification required (National Advanced or Master level may be accepted as well).
